Notes: this was done in college. it was a statement on the state of the world and the consumption of resources and mostly the destruction of nature. that someday all that would exist is despolied barren land and the cites glittering in the distance like malevolent jewels. here sitting on a forgotten stump in the wasteland a wild haired man holds the last sappling around. he contemplates it as he wonders if there is anywhere safe for it.

interestingly this is taken from a picture i took oft he image so a lot of the details are simply tno there. Why taken from the picture of the image and not from the image or a digital pic of the image. because back in 91 it was stolen from an art show at AIP. not the only piece i had taken from me back then. i kinda take it as a compliment that someone should think so highly of something i did to steal it but it hurts too. even now many many years later is still miss the piece
