From what I've seen, even normal PokeBalls can be very. very durable. They have to be -- a Pokemon's body temperature can range anywhere from volcanic to below zero -- can be thousands of pounds heavy or have thousands of volts running through it.

So all parties involved in this will be fine... As long as Ember doesn't open it (which, thankfully, is not as easy as the cartoon show implies).

And if I know humans like I think I do, the Masterball most likely contains one of three things:

#1: Nothing. Because "REAL trainers" never use them, but also refuse to let go of them.
#2: A very powerful legendary, in which case Ember should definitely not open it.
#3: A hack. Which is already leading a soulless, tortuous existence and should only be kept alive long enough to know that the "human" who did that to him/her will never do it again (IE: non the hacker first).

Based on Ember's cheeky grin and wink, I'm guessing she already knows and will proceed accordingly.
