Is there any significance to Lucian's lack of red markings besides being the first gray Reyn you designed for the comic? I seem to remember Julian saying he was named after a distinguished ancestor of theirs.

The lack of red is indeed due to me not being confident with coloring fur years ago. It does not have any significance to the story apart from it just being the way he looks (though I reserve the right to revoke that if I randomly think of something cool ;)).

I remember you saying something with meaning of "Maybe I should make him have some red fur under shirt, and show it when his clothes get damaged in combat or something...", just much better worded, Vir... ;)

You may want to work on differentiating your grays. He looks like MK Virmir, but leaner and more pleasant.

When originally designing him, (and before I could draw well), I showed Tod an old picture of MK Virmir and just said "Kind of like this guy!". And then Tod drew him based on that. ;) At that point I did not consider that I would be drawing and developing MK Virmir much myself, and was pleased with the similarities. However at this point I think it's probably my greatest/most confusing mistake with the comic. Oh well. Maybe I'll give him a new outfit later on. ;)
