When I first got my Keyblade and joined the Vulpus union, Master Ava trained me personally for a few hours, and after that I only saw her in passing. Most of my training was from other, more experienced Keyblade wielders, and straight up just learning on the job. I remember being nervous and terrified the first few times I tackled a mission on my own, but after a while, I started to feel a little more confident after a while. Bold. Cocky even.
There was a particular mission that was assigned for a minimum of three party members, I remember thinking of asking a few friends to join me, but when I went to check out the assignment there was an equally cocky kid from the Leopardus Union boasting about how he could take on the mission all by himself. I don't remember most of the argument, only that it had ended with my Keyblade raised, and accepting their challenge: to take the mission on my own and see who came back first, him or me.
I knew it was a bad idea, but I figured with the experience and training I had, the worst that could happen was that I limped back home with my Lux in tow and passed out for a week.
I had no idea how little my training would prepare me for what was to come.
The world I was sent to was called "Hollow Bastion", I wasn't familiar with the world and from my understanding of the mission, part of the reason it was recommended for a three person party was because the Unions were still deciding if it was even safe for us to go. I suppose that depended on the first few of us that took on the assignment. That included me and the jerk from Leopardus.
Two hours into the mission and I was still feeling pretty good. I had collected a ton of lux, and the monsters that plagued this world were mostly low level shadows. I sat back on a rock to stretch my arms and take a drink of water, I was getting tired and still had yet to find the area boss that usually commanded the monsters that lived in these worlds. Oddly, I hadn't seen any people either.
"Chirithy, are you there?" I called, and my companion appeared in a puff of smoke.
"Yes, Kezia?" She asked, tapping my leg affectionately.
"Do you have a report for me?" I patted her head back, "I haven't seen anyone or anything aside from the shadows for hours, is there anyone living in this world?"
Chirithy shook her head, "Not that I've been able to see." She answered, and turned to point at a large structure in the distanct, "That appears to be a castle, and there's a settlement beneath it, but both seem to be abandoned."
"Hmm, that's odd," I remarked, "Usually I run into at least one person by now."
"There's something else," Chirithy told me, and bounced in her step, "That boy from Leopardus withdrew from the mission. You win the wager by default and he already turned in the lux he collected to our friends...I think the quiet got to him." She added.
I let out a deep sigh of relief, I had been feeling very confident, but still, knowing that my competition had bailed took a lot off my shoulders. "Okay, well, if he quit then there's no point in me carrying on by myself," I announced, and stood up, "I'm going to move on, but could you go ask a couple of kids from the party to catch up with me? I'm doing okay on my own, but as long as I've already won the bet, I think it would be better to have some backup when the boss shows up."
"Okie dokie Artichoke!" Chirithy beamed and vanished just as suddenly as she had appeared.
I stretched my legs and arms, and did a few practice moved to make sure I wasn't stiff and continued on. It was eerily quiet in this world, but honestly, I didn't mind it so much. It made it easier to hear when the monsters were coming. Still, I had quite gotten used to having friends around to chat with, so I was getting pretty lonely. I mean, its hard to complain about being lonely when every few minutes I had to fight off a wave of shadows and other monsters. Of course, the periods between them were still rather quiet and it did make me miss having friends to argue with over which direction to go.
I neared closer and closer to the structure that Chirithy had described as a castle. From here, the waves came in fewer numbers, but with more powerful enemies. There was one that I mentally called an Invisible that was more human-like and one that had a huge dog shaped shield in front of it, and Wizards who cast powerful spells. I thought more than once to go back and wait for my friends in the relative safety of the areas that had lesser monsters- but I was at risk of being overwhelmed by lots of little enemies there, and at this point I might just be better off trying to find shelter somewhere in the abandoned town to hide out. Chirithy could track my location easily, so it wasn't like my friends would have trouble catching up.
A new type of monster appeared before me, a dragon-like beast, a Wyvern. It was larger than the other monsters, with huge talons and an impressive speed stat. "I got you," I whispered more to myself than the Wyvern, I had a fairly simple strategy in mind. Based on its fighting style so far, I could probably ward off its attacks with some Air spells, slow it down with Time magic, chip away at it with my keyblade and finish it off with a well timed combo.
My plans were thrown out the window when two more of the Wyverns appeared. These ones were smaller than the first so I was left to assume the larger one was the area boss. This might be a little more difficult than I originally thought- but I didn't have time to wait for my friends, I was under attack!
The smaller Wyverns came at me, I continued with my original plan, Air to to block, Time to slow them down, and beat them senseless with my keyblade until they fell- it took longer than it sounds, and by that time the commotion had drawn a few of the Wizards and a host of shadows. All the while the Larger Wyvern kept coming at me, trying to clasp me in its large talons. I held it off as long as I could, and managed to beat back most of the shadows, and a few of the Wizards- but I was getting tired and at last...
"Aaaaaaggggh!"
I was clasped in the large talons of the monstrous Wyvern and I was lifted up, up, up into the air. My Keyblade slipped out of my fingers, I could summon it back at will, but I wasn't worried about that now. Now, I was trying to pry the monster's claws loose. It was a long way back to the ground but I had a few other tricks I'd picked up on my travels that would make that less of an issue. The Wyvern's grip stayed strong however, and soon it landed on a high tower of the castle which had only a little while ago still seemed like a very long way up.
I was crushed between the roof and its claws, knocking the air out of me, but I gasped and continued to struggle, beating at it with my fists. "Let me go!" I demanded, not knowing if this thing even understood a word I said, but its weight shifted some, enough for me to turn as the light was blocked by the Wyvern leaning down to have a better look at its prize.
I made eye contact with the monster, and my heart started beating twice as fast. Very little was known about these monsters, but I had heard the stories of these beasts stealing and devouring the hearts of their victims. My hand went to my chest as if that would somehow protect it. My keyblade! If I could just-
The Wyvern almost seemed to know exactly what I was thinking and suddenly it moved again, faster than I could. I had only just summoned my Keyblade, then it was slipping out of my grip as I yelped in surprise. The Wyvern dropped its head, opening its jaws and clamping them down again over the upper part of my body. "Wha-?" I felt the monster's claws loosen around me, and I dangled from the Wyvern's mouth for just a moment before I was lifted up, "What are you-?"
There was a rush of air as I was tossed up, screaming, I only had a few seconds to realize that the monster had thrown me up into the air only so that it could catch me more comfortably in its mouth. I saw the wide open maw and frantically waved my arms, trying almost to swim in my freefall to get me off course of the awaiting jaws. It didn't work, and I landed once more in the dark and sticky mouth of the beast. I felt the Wyvern's tongue lift, its jaws widen to allow me further inside, and pulling me in deeper with its tongue.
What? No! This couldn't be! These monsters only ate hearts, not the whole person, right?
My crisis of finding out just how little I knew about these creatures would have to wait. The Wyvern started to swallow me and I quickly renewed my attempts to struggle. My head and shoulders disappeared into the throat quickly, even if I summoned my keyblade I didn't have the mobility to use it. And unfortunately, I was quick to discover that my squirming did absolutely nothing but aid the Wyvern in its attempts to swallow me. Halfway down the beasts throat already, I had no choice but to lay still and let the thing finish gulping me down, my only option now was to fight my out after I reached its stomach.
Not an ideal plan, but it was all I had.
Unfortunately, getting to the stomach was a pain in the ass. My progress was slow, the Wyvern had done the hard part of getting me down far enough to end my struggles, so now it seemed to be savoring its victory. I could feel the monster's throat vibrating around me with a pleased purr, enjoying the taste of what parts of me were still in its mouth. I kicked around in protest, clocking the Wyvern's snout with my heel, but that didn't seem to bother the monster at all.
Another gulp, and I inched further in, I could hear all sorts of noises coming from the monster's body- the lack of a heartbeat was terribly concerning. These things had no hearts of their own so they harvested the hearts of others, at least that was my understanding. Another swallow. I could hear the groans and churns of the awaiting belly. It didn't sound that far away, and I couldn't imagine it was. The creature was large, for sure, but I estimated there was no more than a few feet between the entrance of its throat, and my final destination in its stomach. My feet might still be sticking out of its mouth when I started entering its belly.
I could almost picture what I looked like from the outside, just a pair of shoes sticking out of its mouth and the rest of me an indiscernible bulge in its esophagus.
Just as I imagined this, a horrible thought occurred to me. This large Wyvern was big enough to swallow me whole, but...It wasn't so much bigger than me that its belly was going to be a cavernous pocket of muscle when I finally made it to the stomach. Would I have enough room to fight, or when I had given up a moment ago, was I completely resigning to my fate? My answer came with the next gulp, which propelled my head through a tight ring and I got my first look at the creature's stomach.
It was dark in there, but a small pool of luminescent acids lit it up to show me that, no, I would absolutely not have room to fight, at least not very well. I could probably summon my keyblade, punch and kick a little, but not there was not enough room to cast any of my spells that would be of any use without seriously injuring myself in the process. Oh...oh great...
The Wyvern swallowed again, the last of me disappeared down its throat, which meant that my slow descent was over. With nothing left hanging out, my journey accelerated fast, I tumbled the rest of the way into the stomach. I splashed into lukewarm acids and fumbled around to sit myself upright, feeling around the the slick walls of the Wyverns belly.
Desperately, I tried to punch and kick at the walls, but the Wyvern didn't even seem to notice the fight I was putting up in its stomach. I even tried to claw my way out, but my fingers couldn't grip the slick walls of the Wyvern's belly. I continued to feel around, I was able to stand for a moment and could just barely reach the ring of muscle that had lead me here. I sat back down, no use trying to get out that way, it was much to high. I curled up, defeated, now picturing myself as nothing but a slight bulge in the creature's midsection- something that my friends, if they ever saw this thing, wouldn't realize was me.
My friends!
"Chirithy!" I called desperately, the stomach groaned around me, the walls squished inwards, and the whole chamber shifted as the stomach started to churn, the digestive process was beginning. I could cast cure on myself to heal the damage, for a while but I didn't have a lot of time. "Chirithy!" I cried again, tears stung at my eyes as my fate was looking grimmer and grimmer.
Just as I thought that the special bond I had with my spirit wasn't strong enough to connect her to me from inside the belly of the beast, a puff of smoke appeared around me. In time to get squished into the pulsing walls, splashed with acids that were steadily getting warmer. We were squeezed tight by the stomach walls for a few seconds, air rushed around us as pressure suddenly dissipated. The Wyvern had belched, pleased with its meal, no doubt.
"Yikes! Kezia, what trouble have you gotten yourself into this time!?" Chirithy gasped, looking around in disbelief and clearly hoping for some other ridiculous explanation for our surroundings than the obvious 'I've been eaten' that was coming.
I wriggled my way into a slightly more comfortable position, it wouldn't be long before the stomach shifted again, knocking me out of it, but as long as Chirithy was here, I wanted to at least look like I had things under control. "Well, the good news is, I found the area boss." I said with a nervous chuckle, "The bad news is, its a different breed of monster apparently. Thought my heart wasn't the only thing that looked tasty and decided to completely gobble me up."
Chirithy's plush face couldn't display a wide array of emotion, but if my spirit ever had an exasperated look on her face, it was now. "What does it look like?" She asked.
There was a loud gurgle around us that I had to wait to pass before I could answer, "Its draconian looking, there's several of them the closer you get to the castle-"
"-We've seen a couple already" Chirithy nodded.
"Yeah, this one is bigger than the others. It took me up to the castle roof, so get everybody there as fast as possible. I put up a hell of a fight so its probably going to try to sleep me off." I said, trying to sound calm, despite my circumstance. Chirithy gave a deep sigh, and told me to hang in there, clearly trying to stave off some panic as well. "Remember, if nothing else, look for the big Wyvern with a full belly!" I called trying to throw a little humor into my situation, Chirithy was gone before I could hear if she found my attempt at a joke funny or not.
Once she disappeared into smoke, however, I let my situation catch up with me. I cast cure on myself to heal the acid burns, and curled up into the stomach to cry. I was going to be okay, I knew I was. But that didn't make being alone in the stomach of a monster any less scary in the moment. The creature's belly was not deterred by the fact that it was still failing to digest me even when it should have long ago. For a while, crying and casting cure was all I could do, but eventually I ran out of tears, and I started to get angry instead.
Why me? Why did this thing suddenly have to decide I was breakfast? I started to beat at the stomach walls again. Before the creature didn't seem to notice, and it didn't seam to notice again now. That made me angrier. I summoned my keyblade, there wasn't much room to maneuver in here, but perhaps the weight of my blade would be more effective than my meager fists. I was right. I slammed it into the stomach walls, and heard the Wyvern cry out in surprise. I was rewarded with an angry clench from the stomach, and a furious growl, like it was scolding me for not digesting yet.
The stomach squeezed and crushed me for a few seconds, once again, knocking the air out of me, and I lost consciousness for a few seconds. I regained my senses when the pressure released and the walls of the belly stopped pressing me so tight. I gasped and wriggled helplessly. I gripped my keyblade again, readying another strike, it hadn't done me much good but I had hurt it and that was all I cared about, but movement kept me from making the next blow.
I had gotten pretty used to the movements of the stomach by now. Each churn of the belly, and the pulse of the walls, even the rise and fall of my prison as the Wyvern breathed had become familiar- almost comforting in the terrible situation I had found myself in. This was different. This was...this was outside. This was the Wyvern moving. I paused, trying to figure out what was going on based on my familiarity with the creature's innerworkings as opposed to what I had observed while I was fighting it outside.
Oh...
Oh no...
The Wyvern had taken flight. It had left the area that I had told Chritithy it had taken me. I had no idea where it was now, or where it was going, where my friends could find it...I had no idea how long I'd be stuck here! If I would ever get out of this creature's foul stomach or if I would be digested away when I ran out of magic. I was tossed around the belly by the new momentum of the creature's flight, never still enough to to give it another whack with my keyblade even if I wanted to.
Panic swept over me, the creature was flying off to who knows where with me still in its stomach "CHIRITHY!!!"

Its been forever since I used this account, and I've gotten infinitely better at drawing- I still prefer writing though, so I don't intend to get much better than this sort of simple quality for a little vore pic to go along with the continued misadventures of Kezia, my unfortunate voresona. She looks a little bit different this time because I based her appearance off of my Kingdom Hearts Union X avatar. I hadn't played for a while and finally opened up the app again only to find out the story had closed, there's a theater mode for me to check out the story I missed and I can play with the avatar makers, but unforntunately I can't play the missions anymore. Which sucks for my vore ass, because part of the fun I personally had with it was pretending poor keybearer Kezia keeps getting eaten by the Heartless she encounters (my favorite is the Wyvern but damn the Heartless are underused preds!) I had a little ugly sketch of this done a couple years ago that I had started coloring that I thought I'd finish up as my late goodbye to the game- but then decided I could do better and just completely restarted from the sketch. What a transformation.
Despite that there was never a bunny outfit that I completely liked, I still imagine Kezia as a bunny girl, you can see her fluffy tail in this pic but I think if I draw her in KH form again I'll include her ears, she just looks weird without them. I might pop the game open and play around with the avatar maker, there's so many more outfits and hairstyles than I remember!
In my general verses for Kezia she can regenerate after death, so we'll say she'll be fine even if her friends don't make it in time. I won't lie, I kind of like digestion when its tasteful and there's regeneration, but I actually wanted this to end on an ambiguous note.
I really like how the bubbles look
