The chilling winds, the falling snow, the cold of the pavement. These are things that Blaire did not, and could not notice. Barefoot, the boy walked through the streets without any guardians or adults to help guide his way, walking oddly only on the tips of his nearly frost-bitten toes. A noise - a small squeak - took the young child's attention. With one fast movement, the culprit of the nose was snatched up. It was only a small mouse, perhaps also wandering and looking for food and cold. The boy cruelly held the animal by the end of it's tail, lifting it above his head to observe it quietly. It continued it's frantic squeaking, wriggling around and trying it's best to get free without injuring itself too much. But the boy had no intention to let the mouse go.

They always tasted so much better when they were still struggling.
