Drake Grayson enlisted in the newly-formed 104th Composite Unit of the Grand Army of the Republic following the Battle of Cartoonia, traveling all the way from his home in the British Falkland Islands in the South Atlanticartoon to sign up in this international coalition force. Having already served in the Royal Navy in WWII, he felt it was right to fight for the freedom of non-Disney Toons everywhere, now doing so under the command of fellow Bluthist Chanticleer Bluth.
Like Chanticleer, Drake is a pretty skilled bubble blower, and noticed a few crates full of bubble gum on board the Resolute one day while on a leave trip back to Cartoonia. He swiped several pieces from a crate, not knowing that they were pieces of highly tensile, self-inflating gum once belonging to jewel thief and arms dealer Balthazar Bratt. This confiscated gum was being sent for testing for potential use as a sealant in fuel tanks.
After getting back home on Cartoonia, Drake decided to try out this gum. Popping one piece in, he was surprised to blow a bubble 20 feet across. With five, he got a bubble up to 100 feet in diameter. Knowing that he could fit way more in his beak, Drake decided to try it with a good 30 pieces of gum. He started blowing, and it got up to 200 feet in diameter, then 400 feet, then 800 feet, then 1600 feet, and before he knew it, it was as big as Antarticartoonia itself! Drake began to feel the gum pulling him upwards despite him being 220 pounds of pure muscle, so he tied himself to a massive boulder while he kept on blowing. Now, the bubble is three times the size of Cartoonia itself, and it looks like it's still growing! Drake wants to see how big it gets before it pops, but it may engulf entire galaxies before that happens.
Looks like Chanticleer's going to have to deal with another massive bubble, and once it's popped, Drake might be looking at some time in the Resolute's brig for this stunt he just pulled.
