Second fan art for Lucky the Cat, Google’s retro-arcade-style contribution to the recent Tokyo Olympics.
In Tanooki City, Champion Island’s largest population center, Lucky learns to master the many skateboard tricks ahead of the ultimate challenge with Tanuki the Skateboard Champion. I discarded her full-length scarf, for obvious safety reasons. Despite being a very popular sport among locals, the calico athlete has the skatepark all to herself. Strange.
Because it’s October, I’ve added a cameo that you might recognize, if you know where to look. In this nearly empty facility, in shouldn’t be hard!
Also, I realize it’s the second time I’ve drawn Lucky airborne.
