Lisalia had been so busy, so focused, so absorbed by her work that she had not seen time fly by. Between experimenting with new potions, charms and spells and perfecting the existing ones; studying old books larger than her to learn new knowledges; exploring ancient ruins; meeting with her fellow mages of the magic circle; not even mentionning her duties at the court; she had almost no time for herself, her days so full and exhausting she would often pass out on her bed or at her desk. Yet finally, after weeks of hard work she was finally done, no more centuries old temple to visit, no more dusty books to go through, nothing; for the first time in ages she had time for herself.
However, while she had been spending days and nights in her workshop or away, everyone else had been enjoying the summer, moving away or simply relaxing and savoring life and it's many pleasure. Still it was not too late to catch up so, on a particularily warm and sunny day she decided to go to the pool and relax in the waters for some time.
After shifting to her anthro form and chosing the right clothes she headed out and casually walked to the pool; fully aware of the many gazes she atracted, enjoying them quite a lot in fact, making sure that whoever was looking at her enjoyed the view. When she reached the pool she found it surprisingly not as crowded as she expected, only a few people were in the water, the rest were relaxing on the side, basking in th warm glow of the sun. She quickly found a spot for herself and put her few things there before deciding to go swim a little. The water was at an utmost perfect temperature, not too cold nor too warm, exactly what she needed to relax.
Some time later she found herself floating on an inflatable bed of some sort, slowly drifting on the calm water as the sun envelopped her in it's delightful warmtth, a feeling of well-being and satisfaction spreading through her, washing away all other thought. She didn't know of something more perfect at that exact time
