This story started from a single sentence spoken by a dear friend one night: "I sort of like the concept of a thin boy that's popular with chicks who gains weight and can only find love in an equally fat boy."
Admittedly, I found the idea appealing, as well. I put digital ink to virtual paper, and immediately was swept up in the story that unfolded before me, as I hope you will be, too.

Poor old guy..
You know it's really hard to accept the fact your friend has the hots for you not only in dreams but in real life.
I know how it feels, trust me. You feel like it is so vivid yet when you wake up you know it was just a dream torturing you. It gets even harder when you are surprised to find your friend might be a little into your fantasy.
I feel for Dylan but then I also feel for Benny because I've been there before where I had to say my crush on my friend was just a joke when really it felt real even though I could not explain why it was happening.
