Latrodectus geometricus (Brown Widow)
Same one from the video I posted last night.
I couldn't get many shots of her as she kept running back to the crack in the wood to hide from me. This was the only shot that really looked ok.
Also don't have my external flash operation al at the moment. No batteries!

The vast majority of spiders are venomous, in that they use venom to subdue their prey.
This one is no different.
It's bite is not known to be medically significant to humans, but it can be painful. However, they are very timid spiders and very rarely bite unless forced against skin or heavily harassed.
