Most of the time I prefer subdued tones, moody scenes, but on occasion I delve into the scenes that demand color. I had posted an earlier shot of this same scene, but this is after the sun had set and the colors of the day sprang to life. Typically I only spend a small amount of time on my edits, but this scene really drug me in and allowed me to let my creative juices flow. Something to inspire a bit of awe, persuade you to visit my mountain home, let you see why we call it the Blue Ridge Mountains.
