ok a while ago i wrote a short story about the human and his furry roommates.

on a date with the mouse the pair was attacked by a street gang who had it in their heads that if this beast wanted a human they would give her more than she would ever want. bossman was struck in the head and while he lay there velvets father a very powerful mage woke him up saying you are not going to lay there and let this happen to my daughter. now get up and get mad. the boss man awoke and in his rage shifted into this griffin form growing almost a foot taller. his new body ripping some of his best clothes as he launched at the gang.
