Nordstrom trudges to the front of the group, three days of fighting in the rain and mud all to protect a dig site. Every single one a merc like him; strangers lured with the glint of coin, now at this moment, brothers fighting to survive. He give no speech. Instead he looks back with a smile on his face, the men nearby smile back. "Spears up lads!" He shouts drawing his sword.
The men raised their long-spears, ready to pierce the enemy. He ready himself griping his blade, readying a scroll as it begins to dissolve; the magic surging into him. "None will break through!" He shouts as the enemy charges into view.
