I can't drive, so I walk everywhere. Fortunately, my latest class gets out around the time the sun starts going down, so it's nice and cool on the return trip.
Sometimes, I take detours and just kind of amble around, especially if I have some spare cash in my pocket. When you're fresh out of a three hour astronomy lecture, sometimes a little evening adventure is necessary to rebuild your soul.

Ooh, I like the atmosphere.
It's also very interesting to have the light source be from behind her; usually that kind of thing comes from the character's front.
AND. I was going to suggest this, but you finished it before I ever said anything. I'm glad you kept the background lineless; it looks nice that way.

I overdo lighting from the front, so... uh. Opposite day? LOL.
Leaving it lineless was one of those things I wanted to do, but I was worried about it. Since Pushi is lined, I guess I thought it'd look ridiculous. But, in the end, it won out. It reminded me of a story book, and it ain't like this was a shot at perfection more than just something I would like. XD;

I need to try a lot more lighting... things. I tend to get lazy about it. VERY lazy.
Quick and fun things are the best. Like, when I actually plan a picture out, there's so much pressure to make it perfect that 99% of the time I get pretty damn stuck. Then I turn around and draw on my notes while I'm bored during a lecture and it's like, "HEY I LIKE THIS."

I've only had mine for a couple of years, but it's been kicked around class floors and picked at by cats. It's a miracle it's still in one piece. ;_;
