Tempest Shadow faints after a difficult magical fight!
In a world full of wondrous creatures, great civilizations, and ancient history, the land of Equestria is a vibrant nation that is full of magic, mystery, and most importantly: harmony and friendship. However, where the brightest light shines, the darkest shadows are cast. Evil forces lie within Equestria as they seek to destroy the peace. One such example would be the Storm King and his army of Storm Creatures; his goal to take over the world by using the magic of the four Alicorn princesses.
He began his plan on the day where all four of them were gathered: The Friendship Festival in Canterlot. He sent his pony lieutenant, Tempest Shadow, to lead the invasion and to capture the princesses. As airships clouded the skies and Storm Creatures descended into the festival, a battle with the guards erupted for the capital. The Storm King’s forces eventually secured the royal courtyard, forcing the princesses to retreat towards the castle. Tempest quickly followed to arrive on the upper floors of the castle, where she would duel the princesses by herself. However, she realized she had underestimated the princesses’ abilities as powerful magical blasts crashed against her. By trading attacks and staying on her hooves, the damaged lieutenant was barely able to win by turning three of the princesses into obsidian statues.
Only one princess, Twilight Sparkle, remained. Tempest stumbled towards the princess and attempted to capture her…but she unfortunately collapsed onto the floor, fainted from exhaustion. Her unconscious body laid right in front of Twilight, who used the lucky opportunity to flee the burning festival with her friends. The battle was won…but Tempest failed to complete her mission as one princess had escaped. As the fighting subsided, some Storm Creatures found her unconscious body on the ground and notified the Storm King. He was furious at her failure but decided to give her one more chance to track Twilight down. Until then, Tempest Shadow quietly recovers for her next mission.
