That looks to be a rather hefty device that Gaua is carrying so a god thing she's particularly strong and I imagine would trust herself more than she might Wa'al or Tir for carrying equipment.
I think we now know why Demi might be a little bit chubby, though he is well dressed here.
Perhaps NightSkull's attacker is one of those whom likes to be sadistic and savour their victim's pain, so deciding to take their time rather than going for a second shot and paying so much attention to enjoying the suffering they don't notice another exohero coming up behind them and get taken down. NightSkull would then be able to get medical treatment.
Hopefully the customer doesn't get so frustrated and the argument so heated that they take a couple of the ice creams and shove them onto the ends of the bull's horns and then shove another in his face.
