Very well done.
One area you did not cover is lighting. One trick to use is making an invisible object that has a light script in it. Use that to move in the position you want lite, such as back lighting or side lighting. This works great when you are set to midnight. The background can be dark and only the subject can be lite up. Only draw back within Second Life is that the light will shine through other objects. This prevents you from creating a spot light.
Use the environmental controls as well. Sunset, sunrise and even the use of the moon for lighting gives some interesting effects.

Light and environmental controls are intended for a second book with more sophisticated details being covered.
This leaflet is really for the beginner, the basic user. I myself for example haven't managed to build or script anything so far, thus I did focus more on the "Concepts" behind taking pictures.
When I myself learned how to make proper lightsources inside SL, I will cover that, too.

This lil manual may have some grammar errors, but overall, I still think that it's really helpful for beginners to make some good, attractive photos. I myself might use this sometimes in the future.
Also, regarding the focused landscape, there is a way to blur the areas around the person or object to make them stand out more other than using GIMP or Photoshop. It's a feature called the Field of View (FoV). This is located in the phototools of most SL viewers. It sounds like something for intermediate photographers, but it does help make very good focused-landscape pictures on SL.

I'm not sure if viewers bac kthen already had the FoV option. My default viewer - Singularity - did get it like only four years ago.
The document is somewhat aged by now, considering it was writte na logn time before I actually uploaded it.
I am really happy you rate it good. And when I ever have cause to update it, I'd be happy to ask for your input and participation.
