Unlike yours truly, Dai studied for his Air Transport Pilot's Licence, or ATPL(A). While the RAF does provide help in getting those licences, that still means a lot of sitting at desks, memorising text. You can see he’s really enjoying it. :P
I think this was the first commission I ever got from
wolfpsalm at Furnal Equinox in 20…16, I want to say? At the time, I was well into my second year at university, and those of you reading who know anything about British higher education know that things get real in the second year of uni. At the time I commissioned this piece, I had assignments due in post-beginner Japanese, Eastern European politics, politics of the European Union, and qualitative data analysis. I don’t think I owned as many books as Dai has in the background at that time, but then studying piloting theory usually involves a lot of chonky books.
