When I read about this 'Alt Version', I wondered how you would go about doing it. The first was with how incorrect the colors were for the 1988 Pizza Hut hand puppet of Petrie. However I had forgotten how his toys appeared when I both had and seen them.

For this, I will certainly share how, if a game, you could have some fun unlocables to showcase how all the characters have appeared differently in their toys and other merch from how they looked in the movies and series. (There was a plush Ducky around 1999 that had her appear like a frog with an intense, lime color. They also tend to make Littlefoot brown when, in the show and movies, he has more of a pinkish color. I think Cera has been the only character to retain a majority of her movie / show appearance with her merch.)

Littlefoot does have a slight pink hue in the first movie in some scenes, although I think this is just due to lighting. because on pieces of concept art for the first movie, and in almost every other movie + the TV series, he's always been brown.
Also I agree with how many times Petrie's colors have been gotten wrong, as you've mentioned, the finger hand puppet which for some reason made him blue with a red belly and green eyelids, then there's the Orange-ish color scheme I mentioned, which also gives him a cream colored beak, underbelly, eyelids, with black arms and reddish-orange colored wings, and finally, there's a plush which made his entire body yellow for some reason?
