Taken in at a young age by the lord of a small town Anthalus had an upbringing like few other centaurs. Despite being surprisingly well-suited to the vagaries of court life his wandering nature lead to him leaving to travel the world in his late 20s.

His survival instincts being somewhat lacking due to his comfortable childhood led to several close calls, eventually meeting Fionn. Hitting it off from the start it took next to no time for them to become more than friends, Anthalus finally able to satisfy his wanderlust with a trusted partner.
