Finally! Another commission completed. This one was for
for his cat fursona named Dawn. I worked hard on this one. Where to begin!
I loved doing the tail and having the stripes criss-cross like an X just like he wanted. It took some time to draw out on paper, but I made sure everything worked out.
Then came the hands. Oh boy the hands. Those again were a lot of fun to make, and very time consuming. So many colors! We were trying to decide on markings for him for the hands, so I gave him the ref sheet and he colored it in for me. I took that and made a pattern of it then spent literally overnight working on just one of the hands. Didn't end up going to bed until 10:30am! It was worth it though.
The feet were pretty straight forward, but adding two colors on one toe proved to be a little bit of a learning curve, but I pulled through :3.
Finally, the head. I followed this one to the ref to the best of my abilities. I made sure that the colors were exactly where they were like in the ref with the same curves and everything (my picky self following the ref more than I needed to x3). The jaw on this one works perfectly! I was amazed at how much jaw movement there was when talking with it!
This partial was completed in 2.5 weeks! My quickest yet! It was a rushed order to be completed for AC. While at AC, I ended up spending all of Thursday (including overnight again until 6am) then Friday until 6pm. I was so happy when it was finally complete and very happy with the result.
was too.
