This is a sketch of my fursona D. Dan performing a stance or move in the eagle style of martial arts. I figured that since his fighting style for weapons has been set as fencing and dual sword styles I figured it is time to pick an unarmed style of combat. It did not take long to find the perfect one for him. Not only does the name fit, but, like in fencing, there is a bit of parrying in this style as well as a good deal of grabbing, dodging and pinning moves that fits my fursona's style of combat. LOL. ^\/^.
This one was made at the barbecue I was at recently. It took less time than I thought and I have yet to add all the usual armor to my fursona. His waist cape and shorts have yet to be added in addition to his sword. LOL. ^\/^.
I drew the cape in such a way to indicate the movement he has made in addition to making it look like spreading or folding wings. I like making little additions like that to the drawings. It still needs adjusting, in my opinion, to make it more pointy at the top ends. It looks like the cape is hanging on a clothes line at the moment. LOL. ^\/^.
