Yep, the place is crawled by snorks and other ugly stuff. Urgs. I hope we find those guys fast enough befor it gets to dark. This place giving me the chills.
The red forest isn't an easy place, never was, and it's to easy to get lost in there. Especially without any guide or the "compass".
But to be honest ... it's also one of the most fascinating places inside the "Zone". Like out of an fairy tale, beside there are no fairies in there.
Maybe they just got eaten by the monsters at night.
