The Shadowy Organization known simply as "EN" makes use of a specific mutagenic specimen in order to keep their local and non local population within controllable standards, this includes outfitting said specimen with the proper equipment to neutralize any rampant mutations within the sublevel section of an already subterranean city. The specimen, Anessi finds the job to be little more than a chore that gives them a place to live and food to eat. Mandelbrot, the troublesome guardian, grows weary that said "food" only invites further mutations within their shared body.
