Anatomy: Marbas is very similar to most Hydreigons, with the only clear difference being the more excessive amount of black fur on his back and the three pairs of big round glasses he wears, one pair on his main head, and the other two on his hand-heads.

Something to note as well are his secondary heads on his hand. Naturally on his species, the secondary heads would lack a brain and be unable to accomplish tasks besides eating or attacking, but Marbas’ are capable of a little more. They can read the information on books and pass it to his main brain and they can also display their primary emotions by interacting with other people and his own heads. They can’t properly speak, but they can still grunt and make other noises, and they usually like to interact with each other.




Personality: Marbas is as shy as they come. Unlike the majority of his species, who are known for violent tendencies and unleashing their power on everything and everyone, Marbas has always been someone that likes a quiet life. He doesn’t say much, mostly because he’s too afraid of what he says will be either ignored or shut down by people nearby.

He has very few friends for his lack of social interaction, only befriending the few poké that didn’t get intimidated by his appearance and approached him on their own initiative. He stutters a lot, but if he’s around someone he’s comfortable with, he usually gets to relax and speak his mind.





Abilities: He might be shy and not violent at all, but that doesn’t mean he’s completely defenseless. When he was still a little Zweilous, he trained during his afternoons so he could defend himself from bullies that attacked him for being his species.

By having multiple heads, Headbutt is a given, giving him good standard offensive power. His teeth are also very sharp, great in case he needs to Crunch an enemy. And, as expected of a dragon type, he has a powerful Dragon Pulse, capable of defeating quite a few opponents.

One thing he wished he couldn’t remove but never managed to was Scary Face, which he always accidentally uses, making people around avoid his presence.
Overall, Marbas is quite strong, but compared to others of his species, he’s way weaker by not engaging in a life of conflict.




Lifestyle: Marbas’ life is like many other young Pokémon that live on the Civilized side of the world, living a peaceful life, but still with its struggles.

He’s a college student, learning all he can to be a Scholar, someone that will acquire new knowledge and write it down for the current and next generations.

But outside of his study life, he works at a part-time job at a Library, working as the counter. He organizes, checks the integrity and delivery dates of the books, making sure they’re well preserved. He loves books, so he was naturally attracted to this kind of job, although having to work at the counter is difficult for Marbas, not being able to properly talk with the clients and scaring them with his looks.




History: Marbas was abandoned at an orphanage as a newborn, never meeting his blood parents, but he was adopted very soon by a Pachirisu couple, who raised him with love and care.
His parents had their shelf with dozens of books to read at home, and very early on the little Deino was mesmerized by them, enjoying how much they managed to convey.
He grew up with a normal life, going to school and eventually college, although he did suffer some bullying because of the species he was until he got fed up with it and trained enough so he could defend himself.
He wants to become a great Scholar so he can help with recording the knowledge of the world, and hopefully write his own book in the future.




Relationships: Marbas is a close friend of Ozzy, with both growing up next to each other after the Larvitar moved with his mother to the neighborhood, and attending the same college, and being huge nerds.
He also met in rare occurrences the Lily Princess, Artemis, who he stumbled upon sometimes during the hidden circus training preparation. He was too shy to talk to the pretty seal, but after stumbling upon each other from time to time, they became acquaintances and sometimes talked about nothing in particular.




Current status: Marbas is in his second year on his History course in college, and working hard to overcome his shyness, although with very little success.




Likes: Books, Spending time alone, Study, Experiments, Cute girls, Cute guys.
Dislikes: Confrontation, Crowds, Forceful people, Seeing books damaged.
