lol, I know what you mean.. XD I allways hate doing arms. cause you don't really get good shape when fore-shortening it. xP

funny thing is, i usually pull that kinda stuff out of my head - like, the arm positioning and what not lol

a good shortcut with foreshortening arms - is make the hand or paw come straight at the viewer, so it would cover up the arm behind it

yeah.. but it still is hard to make the wrist the same size as the bicep.. XDD it's odd.. but it almost allways turns out great!

mmmhmm that it does :3
foreshortening is one of those visual effects that not many people use. I personally don't think its extremely difficult to do - its just hard to grasp the idea. However, it does add an INCREDIBLY epic feel to a piece X3

i've got a few good fore-shortened pics in my gallery. One of the most fun things to fore-shorten, in my opinion, are guns. Especially when you're looking straight into the barrel >3
