Northwest Airlines DC-9-31 #9927 reg. N8920E on final.
Just thought you might like to see the rear of one of these. Kind of fitting to post it this weekend, as Delta has officially retired all their DC-9-30s as of Labor Day weekend 2010.
When this photo was taken, it was NWA's oldest DC-9 in service. 42 years old.
9927 used to be Eastern Airlines DC-9-30 #N8920E before it was acquired by Northwest.
