Terms of Service:
These are really important because I want to protect you and me every step of the way. A commission is like an art contract between the artist and the buyer. My job is to create what you want and to make sure you’re satisfied with the end product.
Your rights as the buyer:
1.) You have the right to inquire about status time to time. You can email me, send me private messages, even shouts if you need to. I try not to give guaranteed deadlines because I’m also working odd jobs during the day to keep me going, and time isn’t always on my side. But I’m not going to take long, that I do promise. When I get a job, I put my heart and soul into it. I’m building a great reputation.
2.) Your character belongs to you but the art belongs to me. If you’re really loving something I’ve done and want to talk about ownership rights, of course we can arrange something.
3.) I create in several stages, from rough sketch to the final product, so I give ample opportunities to change your mind, or ask me for something to add/subtract, etc. I won’t start the inking until you’re happy with the roughs.
My rights as the creator:
1.) I might not always be around to talk to. Again, it’s not personal against you or anyone else, I just have a lot to do, either in art or in my other jobs. So please give me my space. Your commission is no more important than anyone else’s and I usually work first-come, first-served. Believe me, I’ll stay in touch with you!
2.) Additional things you want in a commission must be agreed upon between both of us. I don’t like surprises. I’ve worked in some very professional circles and I know from experience how imperative it is to hold writers’ meetings, storyboard discussions, show-running, etc., to make sure the final product was planned out to the letter. I’ll treat your commission with this same level of thoughtfulness. Your job is to give me the best description you can. If we have a language issue, don’t worry. We can work this out. Anyone can get their point across, with the right level of effort.
3.) I have the right to refuse anyone at any time. Maybe we have differences that can’t be settled, or you’re asking for the moon and the stars on a shoestring budget. Regardless, it’s fair if I simply tell you “No, I can’t do that” and let you move forward with another artist.
THINGS I WILL NOT CREATE:
These are pretty much the standard: bodily functions outside of orgasms (scat, urine, etc.), excessive gore, racial division, hate, or divisible/controversial topics, cub/children’s images (unless these stay family-friendly only), and extreme BDSM and other kinks.
NOTE: ASK FIRST. If things look a bit too extreme for me, I’ll let you know and give you some options on how we can “clean” the idea some.
PAYMENT DETAILS:
Paypal only, please. If you have other methods I’m not aware of, maybe I can create an account to convenience you. I will not ask for money until the project is properly agreed upon, usually after the rough sketch and full description discussions have taken place. My prices are always USD so be sure to convert for other currencies. A 50% upfront payment is required, and then 50% on completion, although if your commission is a bit more costly, I will allow payments over time.
