Monster AU - Slime'd Candice (Infected)
Slime’d Candice - Unlike most entries in the Monster AU, Candice herself is not a monster. Rather, she was infected by a parasitic slime that lives in its host's stomach, feeding off their body heat while duplicating its mass. It allows this excess to be digested to fatten up its host, providing itself with ample protection from outside harm. While there is a treatment to kill the slime, it takes time to work. By then the host has usually been bloated to an immense, often immobilizing size.
