Shen had been sleeping when the knock came on the door of her apartment; climbing groggily from her bed, the 400lb hyena made her way to the front door, garbed in a stretched tank top and bed shorts.

"Who is it?" she asked, rubbing her eyes as she leaned against the door, her weight a better protection against a break in than any door lock at this point. After a second, a muffled voice spoke from the other side.

"Shen...? big sis...?"

Shen's grogginess evaporated in an instant, her eye moving to the peep hole in shock. She knew exactly who it was. A moment of deliberation took her, before she sighed and opened the door, looking out at the other Hyena taking up the majority of the hallway beyond.

Shen hadn't seen Zina for a few months at that point. Her little sister had expressed her desire not to interact during their last family get together, at the end of a rather volatile argument about her choice of partner. Back then the two had been similar but opposed in many ways, Shen was always the calm collected and confident one, blessed with a bountiful figure, heavily top biased. Meanwhile her little sister Zina had always been more prolific to size in the rear. Shen had assumed many an argument between them in their recent years had stemmed from Zina's smaller chest size. Envy can be a rough thing on familial bonds.

It was clear that wasn't as much of a problem for Zina now however, as Shen took in just how much the formerly fat, but rear focused girl had changed. Where her belly had once been a soft, folded pillow of a thing, now it was stretched taught and low hanging in an all too familiar fashion. The newfound pregnancy wasn't the only difference, as it had had some impressive effects on Zina's chest to boot. Even with this no doubt hormone boosted growth, Shen was probably bigger. Not that she cared at this point, as all her attention was taken up by the heartbroken expression on her baby sister's face. Sniffling and hiccuping like a child barely able to keep from tears, Zina was standing there, heavily pregnant, with two small bags.

Questions were going through Shen's mind at this point. Where were all her sister's belongings? What was she doing here to begin with? What had that bastard done to her?

She pushed the questions aside and took a breath, stepping forward a bit. To her horror she saw Zina flinch. Her once fiery spirited baby sister was trembling like a leaf.

"Shen I...its...its been a while...I..." Zina stammered, she was struggling to speak and wouldn't meet her sister's gaze. She seemed terrified.

Her eyes teared up, and she finally raised her head to speak, but before she could think of anything more to say, Shen moved forwards and silently took her paw.

"Come in. Come in and talk"

So here's some background on the Yeen sisters. The two have only been seen in a couple other pics so far, but I am hoping to do more with them. This scene takes place at a point in Zina's life where she is just freeing herself from an abusive relationship with an Arcanine she'd believed she loved. Shen had warned her against him, but Zina and her ended up in a vicious argument and Zina went no contact. Now she's home, and Shen for her part, doesn't begrudge her one bit.
