These were misidentified as WW2 era US military leather gaiters. Upon receipt and inspection we find Swiss proof marks and manufacturer's stamps. These were made in 1941 in Bern by E. Kaiser, probably for mounted troops or motorcycle couriers. A bit dusty and in great condition.
