Sketchbook dump #2 2007
Essentially another image related to the story explain with the last sketchbook image. Just some action poses, the idea of the torn cloths is that when in this form, Kilala essentially gains a foot in height or so and increased mass.

That looks cool!
Very nice drawing!
Only one little constructive critics from me:
If you want to do a powerful sidekick like here, the right hand and arm should also move forward and act like a shield for belly (and bewbs here).
She looks strong and cute the same time --> +fav.

Ah, but that's where you're wrong. If the arm was brought over her chest like that, it would have slowed her momentum & thrown her balance off enough to miss the target. I've seen & performed SideKicks often and this looks more like Bruce Li's Leaping Side Kick due to the height of the kick and position of her planted leg.
Maybe I described it wrong, but in TaeKwonDo technique the arm is used to make the momentum increase as it's more mass you "throw" against your opponent.

I know this isn't furry and I didn't draw it myself, but it shows the position I thought about pretty well.
Again - this wasn't meant like "wrong!" but much more it was the first thing that came in my mind when I saw this pic, so don't take this too serious.

*Smiles* Serious? Never. I will have to apologize if I did sound rather aggressive, but I have a bit of a tendency to get very specific when it comes to martial art styles of attack, but that's mostly from seeing comments from those that don't know about the many forms of kicking or those that haven't tried to do it themselves. *Grins* I just think that actually doing the part would make one understand how it actually works, except for moves that require a specific amount of flexibility since I'm only semi-contortional.
Somehow I thought you were talking about the Tae Kwon Do style and even moreso from the logo you showed, though I do say that the logo looks like it's more like the posing for the Machine-gun Kick as well.
