Saw a rather sad sight today.

There’s a Great Dane puppy in our complex. This dogs about the size of a Husky rn, but beautiful gorg dog.
He is one of the dogs we pass that normally lunges, barks, whole thing when me and Miruko pass by.
Today, he didn’t. I took a moment, to look..this poor pups skin and bones. His eyes were so sunken in. He didn’t lunge at all, but realized I was looking at him, and stood from his crouched sit, and walked towards me with such careful feet, tail low and curved. He didn’t come close to us due to his tie, but it was enough for me to get a picture of him.

I feel so bad for him. This is the same dog that their owner yelled at me for telling them to bring their dog that wasn’t build for the cold, freezing rain with no protection inside. I’d offer the pup food if I wasn’t worried of being yelled at by them.
I’ve done all I can as of now (told the complex, it’s why I took a picture of him, not just to draw them) I just hope that things can get brighter for this pup.

Adding something on* I’d report to the spca of our area, but I told the complex instead as 1 they’ll do it- we literally have rules in our thing about neglect and 2 I’m too much of a nervous wreck to call folk. The last time I tried to report my own dog getting bit it backfired so..just doing what I can.
