Joseph carried with him a small book in which he wrote various things, his father's notes, things about medicine, but also poetry, some of them made for Edgar. XD
the poem:
''Bleu comme le ciel qui joue dans tes yeux,
doré par le soleil qui brille dans tes cheveux,''
Translation:
''Blue like the sky that plays in your eyes,
golden by the sun shining in your hair,''
here Joseph makes direct reference to Edgar but very naive, Edgar does not notice. XD
