What can I say? I had an insatiable urge to paint an Australian Blue-ringed Octopus! :p
Art cravings seem to be at an all-time high when you have better things to do (LIKE WRITE YOUR THESIS. HMMPFFF...).
Made as a card for my new pen pal. (Keepin' the tradition of old skool writing letters alive!). A friend who used to go to university with me, but has since left to go help out with the victims of Hurricane Katrina and now travels between New Jersey and the Dominican Republic.. a rad dude by the name of "Hella Tom."
