Descriprion of Hōfuku no seishin / Hōfuku no shojo:

An aggressive youkai composed of three foxes, each of which performs its own function to maintain the spirit's shape.
The white fox is the bearer of the kimono, acts as the body.
The red fox - the bearer of the fox mask, acts as a head.
The black fox is the bearer of the katana and acts as a limbs.

Youkai skillfully uses a katana, can hold a weapon with absolutely any limb from hand to foot, is resourceful, light in movements, can easily cling to any surface and thus walk on them, in any direction. It can easily levitate in the wind, due to its spiritistic nature, as well as taking weight away from the katana, kimono and mask, which are, in fact, part of the spirit.

The youkai is vulnerable to physical attacks, however, the spirit can be completely rid of only when all three foxes die, without which the youkai will become only a defenseless spirit that cannot do harm, and will simply disappear over time.
