They revealed a huge update coming in version 2.0 of animal crossing new horizons which includes new villagers. This was the new guy who grabbed my attention the most, Marlo(His name is read as Donchan in Japanese). He's just a dapper looking hamster wearing a pair of tiny shades I like my new leaf avatar to wear. I'd like him to move to my island so hopefully I'll get his amiibo card.
