I honestly think it should be a little more understandable. Biology has to be kept track of for medical reasons, so doctors don't do something harmful by accident. Real Physical transition has it's dangers after all too. It's their own choice of commitment. Though Mentality is more what can be fluid. Personality isn't locked to gender after all. But there's also the danger of "Fluid Fakes" that just pretend to be fluid for other purposes. That's the type that most really are upset with. 90% of people don't care too much about those who are unique in their mental sexuality. Just the same as accepting someone as gay or lesbian for the most part, and they're culturally accepted for the most part as long as they have a decent personality or they're respectful, just the same as any other. In any case, I think that many of these are good communities, though we do need some safeguards too for those that are not genuine, just like we do with people who are straight.

So, uh, if you go through with bottom surgery you can put the gender marker down, at least that's what I understood from the comic, how is this keeping track of biology? I am also not sure what you mean with "Fluid Fakes"? Or what safeguards you mean?

Yes after having bottom surgery you can change the gender marker to female as testes will be gone and basically testosterone production being gone.

As for what they said.....I have NO clue.

I am sorry that it is that way in Canada, I am not a 100% sure how it is here (Germany), as I haven't gotten that far yet and am taking small steps only, I just know you need a fuckton of psychiatrists who confirm that you are 'trans enough' to have your gendermarker changed, your name changed, get your HRT etc.
I use 'trans enough' cuz often they expect you to do this by presenting in the most genderole stereotypical way possible...

Oh that in the US, i moved out from Canada to get married so I'm currently somewhere in the US.

While I don't mean to offend any by it, By fakes, I mean those that just use the trans terms and names, in order to just go into places where people are expecting privacy. Basically, pretending they are trans or fluid. While I know the restroom debates are harsh, there's other places that privacy sometimes can be disrespected too... Such as in a spa or private bath. Those things usually have reservations for those who are comfortable with each other. At the same time though, people will do the same thing even if they're not using those for excuses, so it's not an exclusive issue. But maybe I just read a little too much reddit too just, and I know people will use something striving for legitimacy as their tool...

Man, that is pretty lousy, specially since bottom surgery from what I know of it, is still pretty complicated, not to mention the high maintenance I've heard it requires.

And what are FTM suppose to do about it? While MTF bottom surgery is somewhat more manageable to do since they're basically turning an existing part inward, the other way around isn't quite as doable. You can't just insto presto a penis into existence

Gouvernment dont care, is not their problem.
Hell even the surgery isnt covered, so you get in debt of 30k+
And deal with the maintenance/healing and go thru a troublesome process so you can finally legaly indentify as femake.

I wonder if it has to do with law enforcement. Because we separate prisoners based on gender it would protect those who hasn't got bottom surgery from being a bigger target for sexual assault.

Im not sure, but that only in the US and in some state.
