And here we have Holdem from the anime Grimoire of Zero. With Holdem's shirt and jacket being open, exposing his chestfur and the way he's quirking a brow, I wonder if perhaps before the girls had escaped that maybe they'd been a little flirting and maybe some ruffling of that chestfur. Holdem is of course denying that anything inappropriate happened and he is a perfect gentleman.
Holdem is a very handsome wolfmen and I imagine another take on this could perhaps be that it's maybe a little liaison that took place in the dungeon to be out of prying eyes, Holdem playing the part of a poor helpless beastfallen at the mercy of his captor. He's quite vulnerable and defenceless with his shirt and jacket open and he's utterly shocked that a lady would have such wicked intentions and that she might dare to try and force him to wag his tail.

With Holdem's canonical bondage scene tempered with the fact that he was ordered to be executed, another silly/cute take is that he's been arrested for the crime of being 'too handsome' and inspiring jealousy in human and beastfallen men and tempting their wives into unfaithfulness. Holdem has just learnt that he's been sentenced to be 'executed' with the method being that he'll be taken into the town square, where stripped off his jacket and shirt he'll be floofed, snuggled, scritched, tickled and scruffed until he's completely senseless and drifts off into a deep slumber.
I remember being astounded when I first discovered a clip on youtube of Holdem's bondage scene: a hot, handsome wolf in a sexy bondage situation... don't often find stuff like that. But sadly it was ruined when that witch wanted him executed; I wanted her to die for daring to harm my new wolf-crush. LOL!

With his fur having finally grown back after so long, Holdem had been in the mood to celebrate and there had been a great many drinks with the Mercenary. Maybe he'd been a little drunk but it had just been a harmless prank, which he was sure his beastfallen 'brother' would forgive him for. Likewise he'd meant no harm with his flirtations, never meant it to lead to a romantic liaison and wasn't to know that had been the duke's daughter.
A couple of days and it seemed rescue had come at last, though in answer to a quirked brow and a hopeful look the Mercenary shook his head. He'd free Holdem but not quite yet, not without a little payback. Given what he'd had to endure he was thinking it was fair enough that his 'brother' received the same treatment and see how Holdem enjoyed it.
If not for his gag, Holdem might have confessed that he did enjoy a good belly rub, though preferably from a pretty lady and not quite so roughly.
