This piece dates back to when I had first gotten my new colouring pencils, circa Christmas 2009/January 2010. Faber-Castells, too! I was happy. :3
So yeah, back then I wanted to improve on my scenery-making skills. I think I did alright on the lineart, but the scanner kind of killed the colours because I didn't press hard enough on the pencils (didn't want to break them or use them up too fast?). It seems a bit too gray.
Anyways, that's the most disorderly place I could think of, a junkyard, so why not use that for practice, eh? I might have should have used some other setting with more straight lines, because I'm already kind of alright in irregular patterns and such (I think). Drawing a city would have been a good challenge; maybe I'll do that soon.
