A single decision. An act of judgement pushed by powerful voices, and what was supposed to be the an empire's greatest triumph brought an entire galaxy to the brink of ruin. From that magnificent age came weapons now too terrible to describe. Stories circulated of pacts with daemons, of imprisoned spirits and tools experimental. But all for naught as the crown jewel of the Empire Ascendent came cashing to the ground.
In just a few years, a legacy built across millennia and spanning from arm to arm was turned to dust. The remains haunted by things brought over from pained tears in the Veil.
Time for a bit of the supernatural this October, and what could be more chilling than a hauntingly beautiful apocalypse (as friends who have seen this already couldn't help but comment on how pretty the scene is). A mighty city collapsed by weapons that blur the line between invention and the arcane.

It definitely shows! THe structures look futuristic and fantastical, definitely beyond the ability of mere modern humanity, yet at the same time beautifully stable and structurally sound. You've paid careful attention to physics, which lends an impressive air of believability A shame that now such magnificent works are coming to destruction...
