Though the Gobs originally known as ‘Forest Gobs’ would soon fall under a rather awkward fate, leading them to become quite a powerful and known force, they were not the only type of Gob that existed. Gobs, by their very nature, are creatures normally capable of acclimating to their environment and undergoing specialized evolution thanks to their easily mutable genetic structures. As such, given the right stimuli, a Gob is normally able to become an entirely new species given the right circumstances. A few examples of these include:
Sand Gobs: Gobs that are suited for desert-like and dry areas. Their bodies are composed of magnetic, iron sand that allow them the capability of manipulating electromagnetism. Their very large ears act as a way to help keep them cool easier.
Cloud Gobs: These Gobs reside at high altitudes, and can also be known as Mountain Gobs. Their bodies are light, and they actually have some weather controlling abilities.
Ocean Gobs: Gobs suited for life underwater, and whose bodies are capable of handling deep pressure. They also have very powerful jaws and love to eat. Fast swimmers as well.
Freshwater Gobs: These Gobs live around lakes, ponds, and rivers. They are easygoing if a bit mischievous. They love pulling pranks on those passing by.
Snow Gobs: Larger and bulkier than most other Gobs, Snow Gobs are very peaceful and love to help those in need. They also love to hug.
Pall Gobs: These Gobs reside in an area known as the Pallwoods, a swampy area shrouded in a perpetual shadowy miasma in which very little light penetrates. This area is also steeped in magic, and Pall Gobs live among the various denizens of the arcane city within. They have excellent vision in the dark, but their sight suffers horribly if they’re in actual sunlight.
Vulcan Gobs: Gobs whose bodies have been formed by earth and fire itself. They reside around volcanos, but are also known to live around hot springs and areas containing high amounts of sulfur. Very strong despite their small size.
Honey Gobs: These Gobs love to make sweets. They go around and collect ingredients from flowers and other natural substances to do this. They are also very keen on the upkeep and protection of flowers and nature.
Gobs as a whole, by their very nature, are often known to be quite easygoing and simple. They don’t like to sweat the big stuff, and often prefer to live for the moment.
The former Forest Gobs that exist under the name of The Supreme Gob became known by other Gobs as ‘Tech Gobs’.
