A character sketch for a setting I'm working on. They live in a freezing snow-covered region, and spend the nights drying off in a warm firelit tent.
The clothing of this character's based on the traditional outfits of the Nenets people, who live in the extreme north of Russia. The outfits are usually made of many layers of reindeer pelts, sewn with the fur facing inwards and the hide facing outwards. I hope that by mentioning this, people might be more interested in learning about the Nenets' way of living.
