Felt like it would be nice to introduce my little pokesona to the world before she goes in for more blub and fun.
This is Ruby, my aquaphiliac Absol girl! Despite her strong-looking physical appearance, she's just a bottom, clingy little softie who is more than willing to share some love and affection... and to have her totally casual swim from time to time, alone or with a partner~
She likes getting herself in all sorts of trouble too, so long as something ends up happening to her, whether that would be breathplay or whatever may please you. And no matter if she drowns and dies, she finds a way to come back; still unknown to the world how she does it... maybe she'll reveal her secrets soon?

The ability to resurrect yourself so long as you died from drowning is a very specific superpower indeed. Not that I'm complaining. I love the combo of cute and fit and am looking forward to see her breathing water some more. You mentioned partners - any plans on drawing her drowning with one?
Oh absolutely, I have a few other OCs of mine to put in to the mix, as well as a friend's who would also like to see some of our roleplays in action, whether it's by drawing scenes or just posting it as a story~
As for her resurrection, I wouldn't say it's a super power of hers, more like a device.. I believe you may understand where I'm going with this? ;3

Basically I'm thinking she has some sort of device that reforms her body when she dies; cloning if you will. Maybe in the shape of a pokeball. I still need to work on how it would make sense, and whether or not it has some kind of impact on her.. but I know for sure that I'd like to have her previous body still exist for a couple days before turning into ash
Well cloning in FTL slightly degrades the abilities of the cloned crewmember, causing them to lose around 10% of their accrued experience points. You could do something similar here, and have it manifest as Ruby being a little sluggish and clumsy when she first "wakes up", and needs to battle or have a good workout or something to get all her neurons firing in the proper sequence again.
