"Do you hear them? The Treestars... they sing with some of the most beautiful voices."
Spike
Gender: Male
Age: 10
Species: Spiketail (Stegosaurus)
Affiliation: The Treestar Chasers
Biography:
Spike is a curious case of a dinosaur, as when his friends first found him, he was just wandering around the Mysterious Beyond alone without much of a care in the world, he didn't even seem to know that he was in much danger either, in fact, he never uttered as much of a word at all. When asked for his name, he didn't seem to understand what they meant.
One of the dinosaurs, a Billmouth Runner by the name of Ducky, became concerned about the lost Spiketail, and offered for him to tag along with the group to find the Great Valley instead of wandering alone, thinking that he might find his parents there. The Spiketail agreed and soon became a part of the gang of misfits. Ducky also gave him the name "Spike" which he seemed to like.
Upon arriving at the Great Valley, his friends had no idea where Spike's parents were, when asked by Ducky (who seems to understand the mute Spiketail the best.) it seemed like he didn't understand the concept of a family either, and seemed sad by the fact that he was alone, horrified by the fact that Spike never had a loving family in his entire life, Ducky offered for him to be part of her family, where she promised that she and her mother will take great care of him, and finally give him all the love he's been missing for his whole life, to which Spike happily agreed! It didn't matter that he didn't look anything at all like his sister, being part of a happy family was all that counts.
Being some of the only people who've been the closest to him, Spike remains immensely loyal and protective of his friends and family, especially to his older sister Ducky, whom which he's closest too. He can often be seen wandering around on the outskirts of the Great Valley, harvesting and snacking on as much green food as he could find, and usually bringing some back for his friends.
Skills:
Spike is an absolute tank, despite being the youngest of the gang of five, he is the largest out of the group, towering over some of his smaller friends. He possesses incredible strength and defense and is often regarded the team's main powerhouse. He uses his large frame and back spines to shield his team from danger, Spike can also use his heavy weight to tear through or shove obstacles out of the way with a simple shoulder charge. And his large lifting capacity also lets him carry some of his smaller friends without burden, especially his older sister Ducky, who often rides atop his shoulders.
Spike has a very simple approach to tools and weapons, his main one being a large sledgehammer, capable of tearing down walls and doors with ease, or to be used as a bone crushing weapon. and if that wasn't enough, Spike can always rely on his tail thagomizer to puncture his attackers.
Another lesser know skill of Spike's is his ability to find green food better than any of his friends, it seems he is capable of locating a wide variety of food even if it were well hidden, this might be due to his strong sense of smell. And having some fat on the bones ensures that he won't go hungry for long, the pouches he carries around are also often stuffed with plenty of food for his and all his friends to share.
In this image, Spike is shown gathering extra food for the upcoming cold time, he seems to have stumbled across a tree still ripe with green leaves!

Very awesome! I like being able to imagine this concept as an Open World game that can be played both online and as a single player adventure where outcomes can change based on decisions made to earn one of multiple endings.
***
You've got Spike well developed. The way Ducky finds, befriends, and makes hima part of her family is a fantastic series of events. (This is how the movies did it. However it would be much different given the world in which your adventures take place for the characters.)
I'd imagine that Spike would only be able to be added to your team if Ducky was in your party and if she was able to have more independant interaction with him without the others. (Cera and Littlefoot could come off too intimidating for Spike given his situation in 'The Mysterious Beyond'.)
Spike's abilities are very helpful, too! He could, as he does in the films and show, clear blocked paths, knock down trees to make bridges, and, maybe, even craft various tools that could benefit his friends given how he is able to be so hyper-focused on what he is doing. (Spike may seem like he's not very smart. However he is certainly very good at what he does and will always do what he can if it is for Ducky.)

I wonder if, at a point in the adventure, Spike would encounter Tippy and start a series of events that would result in Ducky telling him to go with his 'New Family'?
In a gaming context, you could have a multiple series of events and outcomes here...
1: Spike decides to not go with Tippy and Tippy is never seen again.
2: Ducky pushes Spike to go as a result of his inability to decide.
* You play as Spike to help other Spiketails find sources of green food during 'Big Freeze Event'.
* You return to Ducky, along with other available party members, to find Spike.
* You save the Spiketails from predator attack and help bring them back to Great Valley.
3: You must play as Ducky and her mom to save Spike when he falls through the ice.
* Successful completion boosts various stats, uncovers 'Hot Springs', allows for potential recruitment of Tippy to your team, and Nomadic Spiketail Herd will appear at random as you explore the game during forthcoming events.
***
Oh, yes, yes, yes! Lots of potential with a lot of 'If this than that' outcomes that could make for a super happy ending, or one that would be somber at best.

I think Littlefoot is more of the 'crafting' character, as his intelligence and ingenuity is one of his main defining traits in the movies/tv series, you can read more about Littlefoot in the profile I did for him.
Speaking of games, I actually posted this comment on my profile for Ducky, where I gave some of my ideas for a Land After Time game:
"I actually have some ideas for a Land After Time game, the first idea is an adventure game, where you have to get the entire team to the level exit, by using each team member's skills and abilities to clear obstacles, maybe with a sharptooth fight every once in a while, in the form of a third person fighter.
another idea is an x-com style game where you defend the great valley from sharptooth raiders, and maybe even take the battle to them using x-com style turn based combat mechanics, occasionally returning to the great valley to expand on the city and upgrade your equipment, you can take maybe 5-7 members per mission and can swap some characters out for others."
Now that I think about it, survival could be a good game genre for the Land After Time series, as survival is a pretty focused upon issue in the Land before time series, dealing with food/water shortages, surviving natural disasters, and escaping sharpteeth. maybe it could be an element to a far larger game.

I like how you have so many ways to build upon The Land After Time. I am most eager to dig through my backlog of submissions to read and remark on them all. Not to forget how, no doubt, you will release more in the future, too. :)

You are right in Littlefoot being the crafter. He does have the most focused mind of the group. He was even, based on my watching of 'The Stone Of Cold Fire', sought out by the Rainbow Faces as an example of how the dinosaurs were developing intellectually. (LBT 7: the Stone Of Cold Fire is a personal favorite for how we got more backstory on Petrie while seeing how an outlying factor, The Rainbow Faces, impacted the migrating herd. It also features one of my favorite quotes...)
"A good leader takes credit when things go good AND when things go bad."
This is not precise, but it speaks a lot towards how important 'accountability' is when assuming any leadership role. Uncle Pterano, in this case, behaves much like a corporate executive who refuses to acknowledge their poor choices that resulted in unfavorable outcomes for those he lead / was responsible for.
***
Back on Littlefoot being the 'Crafter' / 'Strategist', I could see the game having moments where he would need enough [Charisma] and [Intelligence] in order to encourage the team to stay together while having the ability to not be overwhelmed by Cera's influence nor be discouraged by how often he would need to explain and train Spike in the use of new tools, weapons, etc.
Ducky and Petrie tend to follow whomever has the greatest [Charisma]. Littlefoot tends to provide this more than Cera. However it is easy for Cera to take control and cause chaos if Littlefoot loses his confidence and ability to positively motivate those in his party.
