Before I adopted Vargr as my personal furry persona, he used to be a 'bit player' in a role-playing world I was running. The other players refused to let him remain so, and he became first a 'regular', and then something even more.
This is the story of a turning point. It's also an action-adventure story. Taken originally from the actual game events, like all good 'bar stories' it's been embellished a bit in the telling and retelling, though most of it remains true to its roots. Hopefully, the result is even more entertaining.
Though the story takes place in the midst of a greater adventure, it really needs no more set up than this; sometimes desperate times demand desperate measures.
I do hope you enjoy this one, it's very special to your author.

Thanks for the 'fav'! And I'm very happy you enjoyed it!
Not only is this one a bit of a departure from my regular subject matter and style, but I tried something completely new in the 'production' phase: I used some unique fonts to highlight certain characters' communication.
I hope that didn't interfere with the job of reading it. Actually, I hope it made the reading a bit more interesting - but I'll settle for not making it worse. *grins*
Thanks again for your response - good to know these stories are actually being read! Even better to know they're being enjoyed!

Odd! FA has been acting a bit strange and slow recently. Perhaps that has something to do with it? In any case, if you want to send this wuff an email address, Vargr will email the file directly to you.
