While trying to start, Emilie let out the biggest, tootiest backfire she had ever done. I'm sure that felt better after that!

You have some very nice things going on here. Nice sense of movement of the vehicle as it’s passing the backfire. I do get the feeling of the muffler expanding- it’s tough tho since that is already kinda bigger then the pipe. I guess what could help is to remember expanding versus shrinking. As something moves through the pipe-it’s gonna swell. You got that down good. Perhaps once the backfire moved to the muffler- that would swell, but then the pipe that passed- perhaps if that shrink in a little to make the bulge of the muffler more exaggerated? It’s tough to visualize and explain. But you def got the gist of it here. Nice work!
