Funny story..
So my mom lives in Cape Cod, Chatham. She lives ON THE ATLANTIC OCEAN with an awesome house with 4 bedrooms a library, an awesome full glass porch/room and a light house that also acts as their office >:C ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3394126/ )
So they do all this prep, board up the windows and everything. Hurricane comes and goes.
Me "So how did that go?"
Mom " Oh it wasn't that big of a deal."
Man she almost seemed dissapointed. I kinda half expected her to stand outside the ENTIRE STORM just screaming "BRING IT!" ....My mom's a tough ol' broad...

I'm down in CT and they gave us the SAME warning to batten down the hatches and such.
The storm went right by. Though mind you, I think it was Mother Nature's way of being nice to us. Back in March we had what was predicted to be a "little storm". Yeah...a good chunk of the surrounding areas had no power, trees were everywhere, signs on the highway were twisted around, it was a mess.
So thank you Mother Nature for not kicking our arse again.
Actually I was a bit disappointed as well. Earl was just a wee bit of o' rain and wind

Hehe, "BRING IT" was exactly how my family and I reacted to Cyclone Dina in Reunion Island. It was fun, until somebody died two or three weeks later when a natural dam gave way...
I can only work with what you give me, the rest of the untold story must be pieced together by my imagination. besides, I was only using the facts provided, only one person was mentioned there and for all known purposes only one person lived there. to think there was more people there then mentioned would have been assuming or did you assume every one would naturally think she wasn't alone?
really? I thought I was having an intellectual conversation. sorry, but I actually have a damaged brain that prevents me from connecting to people on a emotional level and it's hard for me to understand social situations. it is hard for me to communicate with people without making them angry. sorry if I did so.
