Bio: The creature known as Ioto woke up one day in an abandoned laboratory in the far reaches of the galaxy. She was unsure of what she was or why she existed, but she figured being alone wouldn’t help. She managed to escape her situation by fixing a spaceship and flying to a nearby space station. Medical and mechanical scans revealed she was a bio-mechanical being with artificial limbs and organic organs and fat. Needing to consume food to replenish her strength, she quickly sought to procure food but saw it wasn’t free. She tried to obtain money by getting a job but her unusual size and unknown form scared most employers. Eventually she got a job hunting for bounties… and became excellent at it, like she was built for this. She eventually made enough money to buy herself a colossal spaceship, enough food to grow quite obese and a reputation for being the most effective bounty hunter in the galaxy.
Her name is an alien word meaning “Spirit” which she took mistakenly after her escape ship’s name. While her voice is very robotic, her personality is fully developed. In fact, she gets irate at people assuming she’s a machine. She quite enjoys learning of other cultures, hoping to find a culture she belongs to. She also enjoys experimenting with sensations, tasting everything she can, touching everything she can reach and consuming everything offered to her. On the hunt for a fugitive alien, she crash-landed in Earth and mistook Ginny for her quarry. After an encounter with Ginny’s dad, she apologized for the confusion and explained that she was looking for the commander of The Invasion That Never Was, an alien of Ginny’s dad’s species who apparently survived the failed attack. With her ship broken beyond Earth’s fixing capability, the marooned alien decided to hang with Ginny to help defend Overland, learn of Earth culture and find her quarry.
