Gleich ist hier der Bär los!
This picture was unfinished for a long time, but recently I could manage to draw the ursine female the way I liked her to look like (with help from the Blacksad comics to be honest^^;)
I wonder: What kind of danger could be approaching them, as she tries to rescue the bib bear from his bindings?
The title means: The bear is gonna be lose and has a certain meaning in german. positively it would mean: Something exciting is going to happen, negatively meant: trouble ahead
And here it has a figuratively meaning^^

Man, this bear guy is so damn handsome! I loved how you drew him!! He seems so big and fluffy, must be good to hug! I loved how he is all bound and gagged, the gag looks exceptional with his surprised expression and the way it makes his mouth half open! Simply love his character design and expression! I think the female bear looks really cute too and I love the size difference between then! There is such a contrast when it's the small female saving his big male lover in peril XD! But will she manage to free him in time? Uwu!

I particularly like the framing of the picture with the leaves and the two characters themselves are very appealing, the male bear a rather handsome and adorable character and a nice role reversal with the potential damsel being the one to rescue the burly hero.
I'd see one possible story for this with the two characters being a woodcutter and his daughter.
The woodcutter had ventured deeper in the forest than usual and had ended up in the old part of the woodlands claimed by a Leshy as his territory. The woodcutter had been intending just to gather deadwood but had gotten caught by the Leshy whom was angry at his intrusion. The woodcutter had pleaded for mercy with the Leshy saying he'd consider it. The Leshy had bound the woodcutter to the tree while he took a walk to consider what he'd do with this intruder and possible thief.
The woodcutter's daughter has managed to find her father and is in the process of freeing him, though they've heard the crunch of the Leshy's hooves and know that he'll be nearly back from his walk. With Leshy always being unpredictable he might have decided that he'll be merciful and let the woodcutter go though maybe with a scolding, or other he might have decided to place a curse on him to sicken and die or perhaps to tickle him to death.
The daughter herself knowing the Leshy's fondness for young women might be able to appeal to the Leshy to spare him, though she might have to offer herself to be his bride and thus herself be in peril.
The Leshy would very likely be aware of the daughter freeing her father but had deliberately stamped his hooves down so they'd hear him and know time was almost up. His warning would be his act of mercy and he would consider their fright and panicked flight from his territory to be amusing and punishment enough. They certainly wouldn't be back any time soon if they were at all wise.
The woodcutter was never to know that the Leshy would have spared him, if only because he'd rather admired his daughter's beauty and couldn't bear to break her heart by killing her beloved father.

Another thought I had for the situation wouldn't be a peril idea as such, though could maybe be a bit of one in a mild way.
